When is a chair not a chair?

When is a chair not a chair? When it's the word Chair of course

Never Buy A Camera Again

This is a pretty wicked idea, take a piece of paper, fold it into a box, poke a pinhole, get some film, ..., Camera!

what about making designs for pinhole cameras and letting people

download, print, cut/fold, shoot‽‽

I know what your thinking, 'What is wrong with you?' But seriously, Blood lamp!

I don't know a better way to explain it, take a look at these four images.

Think outside of the box

Saw another neat type thing. This one is a program that shows you what a bunch of fonts averaged together would look like. As I look at each letter my eye tries to focus on certain serifs or shapes and comes up with a perfect idea of a blurry font.

It's fascinating

Rage, or Jude law's Drag movie

Saw this trailer for a movie called Rage, it's a whole new narrative style for movies. Set up with the backdrop of a fashion show, the movie is from the perspective of a young boy giving interviews backstage for school.

Check it out.

Sometimes it takes a different perspective

Often when trying to be creative one must try out new ideas and look at things from many perspectives, as our prof. has been saying all along. "Try making Lots of different changes" They don't always work best but you may stumble across something that says yes. That will do.

But aren't some of the screw ups awesome?

How do you improve a bicycle? Make it lighter? Get rid of unnecessary bulk?

Kinetic Type

Saw this a while ago and thought it'd be fun to bring up. Typography is a strange art, and to see something different out of it is always exciting. Type, still motionless. Break through those bounds and now we have kinetic type.

I really enjoy this for some reason.

Pepsi

I'm still having problems with Pepsi's new logo. But I've come to terms why now at least. They say the pepsi logo is a smile, when in fact it is a glimpse of the future. Take a look
